Blerina Këllezi

Blerina Këllezi is an associate professor in social and trauma psychology at Nottingham Trent University. Her research investigates the impact and responses to mass human rights violations due to war (Kosova, Croatia), conflict (Northern Ireland), dictatorship (Albania, Croatia), witch-hunting (The Gambia), genocide (Rwanda) and forced migration(UK). Dr Kellezi is trained in psychology and human rights law. Her recent work focuses on the relationship between justice processes (including memory sharing and documentation) on health and wellbeing, intergroup relations and democracy. Upcoming work is exploring intergenerational transmission of memories within families and communities, and the role art and architecture on memory sharing at societal level.
